Thanks to a partial win in the CRPA case, May v Bonta, the following places are now permited to carry concealed with a CCW:
• Hospitals
• Churches
• Medical facilities
• Public transit
• Gatherings that require a permit
• Most importantly, private business owners are no longer required to post signs specifically allowing CCWs in their business
• Parking areas connected to or in control of the above are also permitted
 

The following places remain prohibited from carrying concealed with a CCW:
• Schools & universities

• Government buildings

• Bars and restaurants serving alcohol
• Playgrounds
• Parks, State Parks
• Casinos
• Stadiums and Arenas
• Libraries
• Zoos
• Museums
• Parking areas connected to or in control of the above
